National University 1st year admission test of session 2014-2015for undergraduate student was held on 19th December, 2014in total 180 centers which was previously declared to be held on 12th December,2014.Dr. Harun-Or-Rashid, the Vice-chancellor of National University visited Dhaka College center at 11.00 am.
In the National University Honours 1st Year admission test, there were full 200 marks contained. From 200 marks, there were 100 for SSC (40% of GPA), HSC (60% of GPA) and 100 for the MCQ. Total marks for the test were 100 which was fully MCQ based and the time assortment was 1 hour.Merit record will be allowable for each college individually under National University. Students would be able to choose their preferable subjects who would go beyond this admission test in Merit record. According to HSC, SSC Results and accordingly to age then merit record will be prepared for when similar college’s and subject’s more than 2 students will obtain equal score. The result will be systematized into 1st merit list, 2nd merit list (if required), Quota result 2014 and Release slip 2014. Mark Distribution for National University Honours 1st Year Admission Test 2014-15is given in the following- For the Science background: Bangla-20, English-20, General Knowledge Related to Bangladesh-10, Physics-17, Chemistry-17, Math/Biology-16. Total=100 For the Humanities/Home Economics background: Bangla-25, English-25, General Knowledge Related to Bangladesh-10, Any Four Subjects in HSC-4×10=40. Total=100 For the Business Studies background: Bangla-25, English-25, General Knowledge Related to Bangladesh-10, Accounting-20, Business Rules & Application-20. Total=100 The Nu 1stYearadmission test has been completely taken from all colleges and about total 5,37,936 students have been appeared in the examination to get admitted into the different colleges under National University which has broken previous year’s record as the number of students were huge . The National University Honours 1st Year Admission Test result of 1st merit list has been published on 26th December, 2014 and the second merit list will be published 19 January, 2015.
